This Privacy Policy explains how Storyship LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Storyship websites, Canva apps, support pages, billing pages, and related services.
Storyship apps include Logo Repair, Voiceover Director, and other creative workflow tools we may publish.
2. Information we collect
- Account and platform identifiers, such as verified Canva user, brand, or team identifiers needed to authenticate requests and connect credits to the right account.
- Content you choose to process, such as selected or uploaded logo images, script text, line directions, voice settings, generated audio, previews, and app output metadata.
- Billing information, such as checkout status, product, credit pack, purchase amount, payment processor identifiers, and credit balance records. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by Storyship.
- Technical and usage information, such as request times, app operations, error logs, browser or device details, IP address, and security signals.
- Support information you send us, such as your email address, issue description, purchase time, screenshots, and other details needed to resolve your request.
3. How we use information
- Provide app features, including logo repair, voiceover generation, preview, upload, insertion, quota checks, credits, and billing.
- Authenticate users and protect accounts, credits, purchases, and app operations from fraud or abuse.
- Operate customer support, troubleshoot issues, respond to requests, and improve reliability.
- Maintain security, debug errors, measure product performance, and comply with legal obligations.
- Communicate important service updates, billing status, support responses, and policy changes.
4. App-specific processing
Logo Repair processes logo images you upload or select so the app can clean, repair, preview, and insert usable logo assets into your Canva design.
Voiceover Director processes script text, delivery instructions, voice settings, and generated audio so the app can create and add directed voiceover takes to your Canva design.
5. Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to provide, secure, bill for, or support Storyship services.
We may share information with service providers that help us host infrastructure, process payments, generate or process media, store app assets, analyze reliability, prevent abuse, or provide support. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, Storyship, or third-party rights.
6. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing app functionality, maintaining billing and credit records, resolving support issues, preventing abuse, and meeting legal or accounting obligations.
Temporary processing files, generated previews, and logs may be retained for shorter periods unless needed for support, security, or legal reasons.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authentication checks, access controls, secure transport, and limited operational access.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. If you believe your Storyship-related information may be at risk, contact us through the Support page.
8. Your choices
You can choose not to use Storyship apps or not to submit particular content for processing. Some features may not work without the information needed to provide them.
You may contact support to request access, correction, deletion, or other help with information associated with your Storyship app account. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
9. Children
Storyship is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support.
10. International processing
Storyship and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. We take steps designed to protect information as described in this policy.
